DDP

Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP)

DDP is an attachment-focused therapy model designed to explore a child’s emotions and behavior through understanding, curiosity and empathy for the underlying reason(s) that cause “out of control behavior/emotion.”  The goals are to create a safe environment for healing at home, school and community, in order to increase the child’s ability to regulate  emotion, thinking and behavior.
